Our Founder's Story
Destructive Gentlemen was founded by Jamil Thorne, a former military officer who understood the importance of reliable, durable footwear that could withstand the rigors of active duty.
After transitioning to civilian life, Jamil found that most dress boots lacked the durability and comfort he had come to expect. He set out to create boots that combined the rugged reliability of military footwear with the refined aesthetics of traditional gentlemen's shoes.
Today, our company continues Jamil's vision of creating boots for gentlemen who demand both style and substance - boots that can handle whatever life throws at you while maintaining an air of sophistication.
